20 Photos That Will Make You Want To Visit Singapore

Three or four days. That’s exactly how long people say it’s enough to stay in Singapore. It may be enough for a quick run down of all the major sights and checking them off your list one by one, but it’s definitely not enough to let this amazing city captivate you. It’s not enough to, as it says by a sculpture by Bruno Catalano in Gardens by the Bay, “take with you beautiful memories and leave a part of yourself behind.”

As we were looking at all of our pictures from our time in Singapore, we realized that they’re so diverse they hardly seem to be from the same place. So, I figured we’d show some of them to you, all mixed up in a single post, just to showcase the differences I’m talking about. Here they are, 20 photos that will make you want to visit Singapore.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking for this one. Enjoy!

Entrance to Bollywood Veggies. It took us two hours to get here: walking, metro and bus. It was worth it. It’s a sanctuary away from the bustle of the city. Burning incense inside Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Incense has a lot of meanings and uses: mediation, prayer, and even ward off mosquitoes. For us, the smell is an indication of being inside a holy place. An opportunity to not only learn and immerse ourselves in the local culture, but to, in the silence, get closer to our inner selves as well.
